Tyler's inspiration is his diabetes. He was diagnosed at a young age and is forced to wear an insulin pump, to stabilize his blood sugar.
However, his diabetes will not stop him from doing what he enjoys, as he always tries keeps his body under control.
To escape his condition, he sets his focus on the ideas in his mind.
Tyler Drew Clayton, earned his Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration with a Concentration in Marketing from Frostburg State University. In addition, he earned a minor in Spanish.
After completing his 4-year degree, he went on to study copywriting at Chicago Portfolio School.
He confesses that he did not go to film, or photography school.
Regardless of education, elements of determination and creativity can only be self taught and Tyler puts himself in situations for acquiring free knowledge through hands-on experience. He is persistent to learn more and more at every waking hour.
You can catch a glimpse of Tyler in various movies and tv shows. He loves holding a camera and being in front of one.
He has had many jobs, but all revolved around his craft, such as working at Walt Disney World Resort - the magic is always kept secret. As well, he worked as a copywriter at Walgreens, Potbelly's and Leo Burnett.
Nonetheless, he found time outside the corporate lifestyle to radiate his true self, even creating a production company with his two best friends. After some time, they all went their separate ways, but are still connected. Tyler moved back home to be closer to his family and to fully-concentrate on his craft, which led to the true birth of TDC Photo.
Even his bedroom is his studio - imagine gear that could be found in a film studio cramped in one small room.

The motivation to pursue his dream as a profession is predominantly the want for a challenge of capturing exactly what the client desires. And the opportunity to have the element of surprise, when the client sees the final images, can be rewarding as well.
He gets to enjoy every waking day, as he is doing exactly what he wants.
A day with Tyler usually kicks off with a good cup of joe to jump start the day, then begins working on projects for his two consulting positions with Allegany County, Maryland Tourism and Western Maryland Scenic Railroad.
He does find time to grab a bite to eat and take care of his Diva cat, Penny - meow.
Right before bed, he emerges himself in either editing photos for Instagram or learning new photoshop tricks on YouTube.
He depicts success as a self portrait: fulfilled and financially-independent, with finding the right balance between money and creations.
His main focus is to create value to his name.
Tyler is determined to find success and is always on the run working on a project.
